Just wanted to get this in - Not bad - for a reason - slightly different. Christmas Card?
Who really knows? I have a couple of them. These flowers constantly move and open.
Then they just start dropping pieces off. They last awhile, but, they really have a
personality.

Finally made the blog! I love her and hate her.
It took me awhile to come around but - her record is incredible
and lately she's in the news with the Russian coach mouthing
off and in Singapore, having the worse match of her life. Will
the real Serena step forward? Serena trying to become 3rd woman in history and fourth player in Open Era to win Grand Slam. She won Wimbledon for 3rd leg. If she wins US Open she will have one of the best seasons ever. Beaten by Roberta Vinci at the US Open Semis. Incredible story. 300-1 shot beats her and then Vinci loses to Pennetta in Final.

Lester!!

Jon Lester and the beeg Red Sox Trade to Oakland in the middle of a lost season. He was pitching great but the Sad Sox could not score runs and they had to get a bat from the A's. Cespedes and he is working out very well for Boston and the A's are going in the tank. Not Jon's fault. They lost a bat in their lineup! After the season, they are talking about bringing him back!

A's did not do well in playoffs - not Lester's fault. Their BP imploded. They really like him in Boston and all sorts of scenarios are brewing. Money is huge as always. Stay tuned on the travels of Jon -
Yankees? Nothing surprises me anymore. Finally wound up with the Cubbies and is doing okay - 6-8 3.32 ERA - They have a young team and are fighting SF of all places for a Wild Card. Kris Bryant may be the real deal - but - they put too much pressure on these "phenoms" They are just kids with baseball talent. 

Peyton

Peyton with Denver and I guess we will never know what happened in the Super Bowl vs the Seahawks 43-8 disaster. I should have put a football flying by his ear which happened on the very first play from scrimmage. Miscommunication or some such thing on a play they were practicing  for a week - at least. Safety for Seattle with Denver recovering the football in the endzone.
Pretty much all downhill from there. I just didn't want Peyton overshadowing Brady and actually wishing to protect tom tom. My own SI hex here. Denver could not do a thing offensively - the Seattle defense was #1 ranked in the NFL. Game was advertised as the no.1 offense vs the no. 1 defense and
- like they say - Defense beats Offense in the biggest games. Some day we may remember that.
